So my camera...

I've shown you what camera's the best and the camera I was looking to get etc. However the reason I started this blog was to focus on photography and help stranger and amateurs get ready and get good photos. So I decided to show my photos as an example what to do

ACTION PHOTOS

As you can see in this photo it looks like I am close to the rider and right up in the action. However this is all in the focus. The background has been blurred automatically by my camera to focus on the main image. Therefore the first step to get a good photo has automatically been done by the camera with out any need for anything to be done by you (if the focus does not automatically work please read manual). Second step has to be done by you and this is about the timing in this photo i have got the timing correct that the back dirt is up in the right time. this is important in any shot whether its the waves in a surfing picture, or a kick-flip in a skateboarding picture.

STILL FLOWER SHOTS

The flower shot is an easy shot, presuming you have the right lens and the right technique. It you have a big lens, around 40-220 I would recommend, it will make the job a lot easier. The lens gets the right texture and as you can see you can really see and almost feel what this daffodil is. My next tip will be don't stand above the flower. I can not stress enough how poor the image will look if you just stand above the flower and shoot. If you want to get the good shot it will have to involve you getting down and dirty on your knee's. I'm sure you wouldn't mind getting a pair of jeans dirty for £40 no?.

BLACK AND WHITE

Black and white photography has become big in the last four years after colour photography came in! Anyway black and white really brings out the different textures and can really make a photo a lot more scary or sometimes even beautiful! So black and white is very simple there is a setting on your camera that should say black and white. So simple yet so effective

Canon EOS 5D Mark II

People love photography and I understand why. It is fun, enjoyable and what you get out of it is next to always what you wanted. However if your using a small digicam and want your photos to look up to three times better you should read this post.

So now your ready to put you small digicam down and give it to kids yes? So lets get browsing

My favourtie camera, and what I am looking to get, is the Canon EOS 5D Mark II

So here it is the Canon EOS 5D Mark II, but before you buy you would be stupid not to know what it does what so special about it.
  • 21 megapixel CMOS sensor
  • Sensor dust reduction by vibration of filter
  • 3.9 frames per second continuous shooting
  • DIGIC 4 processor, new menus / interface as per the EOS 50D
  • Image processing features:
  • Highlight tone priority
  • Movie recording in live view
  •  Water resistance: 10mm or 3 minutes in rain
For me information and reviews from people like you visit: http://www.dpreview.com/reviews/canoneos5dmarkii/

So now we've seen the looks of this camera and its beautiful yes? and we've seen the best facts and what this camera does that some camera's don't. Now it is time to buy... now a lot of people will just go into there local camera shop ask for this camera the salesman will say how brilliant it is then some how your out of pocket £2800. This is why I made this blog, to stop people buying from people who will rip you off. So i have been comparing, I went onto amazon, I thought okay lets try pick up this camera for say £1800. Boy was i wrong http://www.amazon.co.uk/Canon-Digital-SLR-Camera-Mark/dp/B001E97GIK    they were willing to charge me around £2300 for just this camera so before i had a chance i clicked off with frustration. Next website, so this time I googled it. Then this came up, yup in capitals THE LOWEST UK PRICES. Guess what the camera only was £2299.99. So they are claiming to be the cheapest and they are only  1p cheaper, perfectly legal but that is still expensive. I was really getting frustrated now and went for ebay. Typed in the camera name and then this came up

As you can see i have compared three websites and a local shop and i have found a difference of around £1100.  So if you want to buy this camera or any camera infact please do some research it irritates me how people see a 'good' offer and buy without thinking when as you have seen you can save a lot of money!
